What is KIDDOS Toys Club?

KIDDOS is a premium toy rental subscription for children aged 0-6 in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah & Ajman. We match age-appropriate toys from 36 premium brands to your child — or you can browse and choose your own. Play, learn, swap — repeat.

How does it work?

Choose your plan (3 to 9 toys per month), tell us about your children, and subscribe. We pick toys matched to your child's age and interests — or browse the catalog and choose yourself. Play for a month, then swap for a fresh set. Free delivery and pickup included.

What ages do you serve?

We serve children from newborn (0 months) to 6 years old. We match developmentally appropriate toys to each age range based on years of experience.

Why fewer toys?

Our whole idea is fewer toys, deeper play. When children have a small, well-chosen set in front of them, they settle in and play longer — a University of Toledo study found toddlers with fewer toys played more creatively and for longer than those surrounded by many. A fresh set each month keeps that focus without the clutter or the shelf of forgotten toys.

How is renting better than buying?

Children outgrow most toys in weeks, so buying means a growing pile of clutter and roughly AED 500 a month for the average UAE family. With KIDDOS you get premium toys for a fraction of that — always age-right, always rotating, never your clutter to store. We clean, repair and reuse every toy, so it's gentler on your home and on the planet.

Subscription

How much does it cost?

Plans start at AED 100/month for 3 toys. Add extra toys for AED 20 each (up to 9 toys). Save with prepaid plans: 6 months gets you 1 free month, 12 months gets you 2 free months plus a freeze month.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your toy count at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. Manage this directly in your portal, or email us at [email protected].

Can I cancel anytime?

Monthly subscribers can cancel anytime — no lock-in, no penalties. If you're thinking about cancelling, you'll also be offered the option to pause instead (free, up to 3 months). Prepaid plans (6 or 12 months) run for their full term, but like every plan they can be paused or frozen whenever you need a break.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes — any plan can pause, including 6 and 12-month plans. Pausing is completely free: we collect your toys first, then billing stops. Any full unused months you've already paid for are saved and applied when you resume — we can only save whole months, not part of one, so the earlier we collect the toys, the more you keep. Your toy preferences, Smart Picks, and current pricing are all preserved. You can pause for up to 3 months and resume anytime with one tap. If you don't resume within 3 months, your subscription is automatically cancelled. Prefer to keep the toys at home while you take a break? Freeze instead (see below).

What is a freeze month?

A freeze lets you keep your current toys at home while you take a break — you skip one exchange and your subscription extends by a month. Any plan can freeze for 50% of your monthly rate (e.g. AED 50 for 3 toys, AED 80 for 6 toys), and 12-month subscribers get their first freeze free. The difference from a pause: with a freeze you keep the toys (50%); with a pause we collect the toys first and it's free.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds on 6 and 12-month prepaid plans are available if you are leaving the UAE — we'll need your UAE visa cancellation document. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime with no refund for the current month. For all plans, your toys stay until the end of your paid period.

When does my billing cycle start?

Your billing cycle starts when you schedule your first delivery, not on your signup date. This ensures you get the full value of your subscription from day one.

Can I transfer my subscription?

Yes! If you can't continue, you can transfer your remaining months to a friend or family member. Contact us at [email protected] to arrange a transfer. Available on 6-month and 12-month prepaid plans.

Can multiple children share one subscription?

Absolutely! Add all your children to your profile. During an exchange, toys are allocated across your children — you can adjust the split however you like. The total number of toys is based on your plan, not per child.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Toys

What brands do you carry?

We carry 36 premium brands including Grimm's, Hape, PlanToys, Janod, Wobbel, Le Toy Van, Magna-Tiles, and many more. All eco-friendly and built to last.

How do you choose toys for my child?

We match toys to your child's age, interests, and developmental stage based on years of experience. Use Smart Picks to get a curated selection you can approve or adjust, or browse our full catalog and pick toys yourself. We focus on open-ended, Montessori-aligned play that builds creativity, fine motor skills, and problem-solving.

What if a toy breaks?

Normal wear and tear is completely fine — kids are kids! We only charge for significant damage or missing pieces. Our toys are built tough by premium brands, so breakage is rare.

Can I request specific toys?

Absolutely! You have two options: use Smart Picks to get a selection you can approve, swap, or adjust before it ships — or browse the full catalog and choose exactly what you want. You can also add preferences and toys to avoid in your profile.

What are large toys and is there a limit?

Some toys in our catalog are marked as 'Large' — these are bigger items like play kitchens, Wobbel boards, balance bikes, train tables, and activity walkers. To keep deliveries manageable and ensure variety, we limit the number of large toys per exchange based on your plan: 1 large toy for 3–4 toy plans, 2 for 5–7 toy plans, and 3 for 8–9 toy plans. You can see the 'Large' badge on qualifying toys in the catalog.

Can I buy a toy instead of returning it?

Yes! During an exchange, you can buy any toy you currently have at 25% off the retail price. Just toggle 'Buy' on the toys you want to keep — you'll pay via Stripe checkout and the toy is yours permanently.

What if a toy has missing or lost parts?

Report it using the 'Report Issue' button on your dashboard. If you self-report, you'll receive a 50% discount on replacement part costs. If our warehouse discovers missing parts after return, the full replacement cost applies. You have 48 hours to respond before any charge is processed. Found the missing piece later? Use the 'I Found It' button anytime — we'll waive or refund the charge.

Delivery

How does delivery work?

We deliver across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah & Ajman for free. Deliveries happen between 8am and 6pm. Our driver brings fresh toys and picks up the previous set in one visit. You'll get your exact 2-hour delivery window the day before.

What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah & Ajman. Areas include Marina, JBR, Downtown, Arabian Ranches, JLT, Business Bay, Yas Island, Khalifa City, Sharjah, Ajman, and many more.

How often can I swap?

You get 1 free exchange per month — it resets on your subscription anchor day and doesn't carry over. You can also purchase extra exchange credits, valid for 1 month from purchase. If you have no credits left, extra exchanges cost a flat fee based on your plan: AED 50 for 3 toys up to AED 110 for 9 toys. You can schedule an exchange anytime from the portal.

Can I swap more than once a month?

Yes. Your plan includes 1 free swap each month, which is plenty for most families — a fresh set monthly keeps play focused without the clutter. If you'd like to swap again sooner, you can buy extra exchange credits (valid 1 month), or pay a flat fee per extra exchange: AED 50 for 3 toys up to AED 110 for 9 toys.

Can I track my delivery?

Yes! You'll receive a tracking link when your delivery is confirmed. On delivery day, the page updates live with your driver's progress and sends you a notification when they're about 30 minutes away.

What if I'm not home during delivery?

No problem. You can set a safe delivery location in your profile — like your door, reception, security desk, or a neighbour. You can also add specific instructions for your driver. If plans change, use the tracking link in your confirmation email to reschedule to another date.

Safety & Hygiene

How are the toys cleaned between families?

Every toy goes through our thorough hospital-grade cleaning process: inspection and piece counting, deep cleaning with non-toxic child-safe agents, a final quality check, and individual cotton-bag packaging. We clean over 5,000 toys per month — your child's health is our top priority.

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. We use Stripe for payment processing (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant) and never store your card details. Your personal information is encrypted and never shared with third parties.

Gift Memberships

Can I gift a KIDDOS membership?

Yes! Visit our Gift a Membership page to purchase a gift. You can choose a specific plan (number of toys and months) or set a gift amount and let the receiver pick their own plan. It's a one-time payment with no recurring charges.

How does the receiver activate a gift membership?

After you purchase, you'll receive a shareable link and digital gift card by email. Share it with the recipient — they click the link, sign up with their details, and start choosing toys immediately.

Can I gift to someone who's already a subscriber?

Yes! If the recipient is an existing KIDDOS subscriber, the gift value is applied as credit to their account. It automatically covers their upcoming renewals until the credit is used up.

What if the gift isn't redeemed?

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase. We'll send you a reminder 7 days before expiry. Unredeemed vouchers cannot be refunded or extended.

Does the gift receiver need a credit card?

Yes — new members need a card on file as protection in case toys are lost or damaged. They won't be charged during the gift membership period. When the gift ends, they can choose to continue with a paid subscription or return the toys.

Ambassador Program

Do you have a brand ambassador program?

Yes! If you're an active Instagram parent with a genuine audience, we'd love to hear from you. Brand Ambassadors receive a free premium toy subscription, a unique referral link (your followers get 50% off their first month), and can earn commission on every signup. Apply at kiddostoysclub.com/become-ambassador.

What are the requirements for brand ambassadors?

We ask for at least 1 Instagram post per month featuring KIDDOS toys, at least 2 Instagram stories, and at least one piece of content must be an unboxing. We also expect ambassadors to actively engage with our KIDDOS posts — liking, commenting, and sharing to help boost our community.
